My stop motion video is done with Cars characters racing in the Piston Cup, the cars I thought would be fun and I couldn't find anything else to make a movie with. I would probably rate my video a 7, because I tried hard on it and it took a while to make, but it isn't that "mindblowing". If I could do it again, I would probably take more time to plan out my story and what objects I would be using for my video. Maybe I would do Legos or a complete board story. Something that makes my video unique is that I did a car race with the characters from Cars in the Piston Cup, other than the racing I also did the pit-stop and car crashes. I also didn't see anyone else doing that sort of car race or anything. I feel like I should get a pretty good grade on my video, but for some reason my camera flips towards the end of the video, even though I had it the same way and same tilt. I've been getting good feedback so far from the video, so I believe I would get a good grade on it.

Unethical Practice 4/20/15
Why do you think that most people use unethical
practices to cheat academically?
The students in the video were most likely using it for
an easy way out. They also used it because they were being lazy and didn’t take
the time to do their own work.
Which one of the four offenses committed you think
should have been let off with a warning rather than expelled? Why?
I think Sandra, the girl that let Mohammad copy some of
her writing and use it in his essay, should have been giving a warning instead
of being expelled. She probably realizes that he was going to copy word for
word of a lot of the sentences she was writing. Even though she let him copy
some, but maybe thought he would have changed around the words or not copied as
much as he did.
What kinds of problems will follow the students with
this on their record?
The
students would have their futures “crushed” if this ended up on their record.
If another university saw that they had been expelled from the last university
because they had plagiarized, then they would most likely not get into that
university, or any other. Also it would be hard for them to get good jobs if
they saw this on their record too.
Search the unethical academic practices or plagiarism
at the school you want to attend and see what the offense for these practices
are.
At Nebraska University, in their student code of conduct,
the penalty for something of fraud and misrepresentation (unethical practices) would mean the revoking
of their admission or degree.

Sphero 3/11/15
Speed, Time, and Distance:
In this lesson we learned how to program a Sphero device to go a certain speed, time and distance. We used a app called MacroLab to program the little ball. It takes many different trial and error tests to get everything just right and running smoothly. We used a command to make it do go different distances by tweaking the roll, stop, speed, and delay times and percentages. We also used a measuring tape to measure how far it goes at certain speeds and certain delay times.
2D Geometry:
In 2D Geometry we learned how to program our Sphero to make certain shapes. We programmed the ball to go different angles and different speeds, first we did a square and had the colors change every time the ball started on a new side. The angles and percentages took a few tries to get right, and after we got a complete square we started and finished a triangle, and then a pentagon. The angles on the pentagon and the sizes of the sides were much harder to figure out. We also used the color, roll, stop, and delay much more, but easier this time since we knew what we were doing.

2/17/15 SixthSense Technology
From watching this video, I learned a lot about the future potential for technology. SixthSense technology has many exciting features, the five features that amazed me the most would be:
- Would be the ability to have a screen/projection pop up anywhere you would like.
- With Sixth Sense you can simply hold your hands up, and it takes a picture.
- Just by holding up a book, it will show you how many stars it has, reviews, and even get audio for it.
- It shows that you can also hold up a magazine, or photo of an event, and get watch a video right there!
- Lastly, I also love how you can simply use a piece of paper the same way you use a device (Watching movies, and playing games).
Even amazing technology like this has some flaws. Some of those flaws would be how shaky the camera would be because it is on your body. It also would need Wifi or cellular to be on the internet. One of the biggest problems would be how large the camera and the projector are. It would cause issues if you wore it outside or in public, it could be damaged easily.

1/16/15 Favorite App
My favorite app in the appstore is QuizUp. QuizUp is a real-time multiplayer trivia game. It has over 600 topics to choose from, with new topics added each week. Including topics from current pop culture to obscure science facts, it's fun and educational! I love this app because you have a large range of topics to choose from, and you play against other random people! You also can level up enough on a topic to become the best at in in your state, or even country! I enjoy doing quizzes on my favorite book series or TV shows. To learn more about QuizUp, click here.

1/14/15 Collusion
Why was all of the tracking a concern for the speaker?
The online tracking was a problem for speaker, Gary Kovacs, not only because it was keeping his own personal information, but his 9-year-old daughters information. These trackers are following him and his daughter on the internet, taking and collecting all of their information making their profile.
What do you think the trackers doing with your information?
They are using it in different ways to make money. The companies in this business's top revenue is about $39,000,000,000.
Were you surprised at how many dots/connections were appearing?
Yes, I was very surprised when I saw how many dots and connections were appearing as he went on with his day. Also, with the children's sites that his daughter was going on also made dots appear.
How many do you think would appear for you? Describe your digital usage.
I don't think as many dots would appear for me as Gary Kovacs's did, because I don't get on that many different websites, but I probably would have a good amount of them.
Why would tracking be a good thing? Why would it be a bad thing?
It could be a good thing, to help with national security, and also websites can personalize your choices like in movies. It would be a bad thing because there are different trackers collecting all the information you've ever put online, all your personal information as well.
